I'll happily watch cartoons over adult shows most of the time. I find myself more entertained and cheered up whenever I watch a cartoon like MLP FiM rather than a show for adults.
I was born in the very early 80's so I grew up with many cartoons that I still watch from time to time and get more joy out of them than current adult shows. Most adult shows in my opinion aren't that good and are overrated and overhyped. I did grow up with many great sitcoms that really made me laugh and make me feel happy. Now most sitcoms are either not funny or just not my taste. Sci-fi shows were awesome when I was younger, but now they just seem to be just copying each other and just adding a new twist. And don't get me started on how many "reality" shows there are now.
The only adult shows I watch on tv are Law & Order: SVU, Cake Boss (yes it's a reality show but one worth watching), and WWII documentaries.
For cartoons, I watch Simpsons, anime (not as many as most anime fans and they are animated, so they count as cartoons), old-school cartoons from 80's-90's, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (many adults could learn from a lot of the lessons shown in each episode).
Do you have this without the characters on it? I wanna make one but my shopping skills are......minimal. I'm not good at removing stuff that's there XD
I can't stand "adult shows", they all boil down to either an overdone drama in a hospital or with cops, sitcoms with stale sex jokes, or reality shows that consist of a bunch of random idiots yelling at each other.
The closest I come to adult shows is science documentaries like NOVA or How The Universe Works because science is AWESOME!!! (complete nerd mode activated)
